Giani Gurdit Singh's books have received critical comments and acclaim from a wide variety of intellectuals as well as even political leaders.

They have included famous authors like Khushwant Singh, Nanak Singh, Amrita Pritam, Gurbachan Singh Talib, Harbhajan Singh and Sant Singh Sekhon. Partap Singh Kairon loved Mera Pind, as did Balraj Sahini.

Among those who have recently commented on his books are Jaspal Singh (on Mera Pind) and Mohinder Singh (on Mundavani).
